Hello,
This Policy No 1501742825000250 (reliance general insurence )in the name of Malati Sinha has been forwarded for a claim for Viral Fever/Pneumonia. But the claim came back rejected. Now the reason being told for rejection is that of a presence of a pre existing. And that pre existing is not a pre existing at all it was just a diagnosis done in 2012, ECG/Holter test done of whose the reports were NORMAL.(attached) The reports are already there for you to check.(attached) How can they state Pneumonia/Viral Fever as pre existing or how can they relate Holter/ECG with a Viral Fever.
I just cannot comprehend on what grounds have they drawn this bizzare conclusion of depriving a client of not providing the cashless claim that they had trumpeted all along when the client signed or enrolled for your policy. If this is what they do or practice in the name of insurance for simple case of viral infection/fever one would only what would be the plight of more complex situation.
