Hi, I had bought a insurance policy through a agent who claimed to be from IRDA named Sanjay Rao. He quoted 2 of my previous policy names and mentioned I will get benefits if I but a new Future Generali Policy named Saral Anand which would fetch 35% interest for the first 5 years. However the policy document did not have any such clause. The company says I should have returned the policy within the 15 day period which I did not do because I ddid not get time. I would however want to file a complaint as to why the agent lied to me about the 35% return clause. Pls let me know if I can lodge a complaint on this basis and what processes and amounts it would incur. Thanks Sourabh.
