Dear Sir, I have deposited Rs.3 lacks at United Bank, Kalyani, bearing branch code-1772 under MIS scheme. Due to urgent requirement for treatment myself for cardio artery disease , I was constrained to close the accounts before the maturity. As per discussion with customer care they will deduct fine from in interest not from principal. But the said Banker has been deducted from my principal in place of interest. For the same situation The State bank Kalyani has not been deducted any fine also came to know from a reliable source of OBC that they are also not charging any fine for this type issue. Myself at the age of 77years requesting you to look into the matter so that a proper and sympathetic judgement may be extended upon me. Waiting for your kind judgement.
