Consumer Redressal

I booked a room on 6th February 2015 for my stay at Katra from 6th March 2015 to 8th March 2015 through yatra.com (yatra ref no. 06021543917). When I reached on 6th March 2015 at the Hotel, I found to my surprise that no room was booked on my name and the Hotel people had not received any such communication from yatra.com. It was also a bigger surprise to note that the Hotel does not have any tie up with Yatra.com. I was dumped in a shabby room and I had to put up with the accommodation as the weather was too bad and I could not venture out to look for alternate accommodation elsewhere. The Hotel manager insisted on payment whereas I had made the full payment on 6th February itself to Yatra.com. I ended up paying after I was told by Mr. Balram of Yatra.com because without making payment, the hotel manager was not allowing me to checkout of the hotel. I demand reasonable compensation for the hardship I faced at such an unfamiliar location in spite of making payment much in advance.
