I had remitted Rs 28914/- to M/s Indiaislandtourism on 01/12/2014 towards the cost of three Deluxe class tickets for ship journey from Kolkata to Port Blair on 22.12.2014. The amount includes taxes and service charges as applicable. Initially the agency did not send me tickets and I had to really struggle through repeated emails and phone calls for almost 20 days. Finally, the tickets were provided to me in first class instead of Deluxe class. The difference of amount is Rs.6954/-. Since First of Jan 2015, I have been asking the agency to refund the difference amount after deducting the taxes and service charges applicable. I have been talking to the contact person of the Agency Mr P Mariappan through email and phone. He has been promising to refund the money all through, however has not done the same yet.
