Consumer Redressal

I got medi claim insurance policy thru New India assurance co ltd. For myself and my family. The policy was initially taken from August 2013. Before that I had insurance from IFFCO TOKYO. In 2014 sept I was detected with stone it gal blader. I was denied cash less as I was told I hv no countinuity in the policy through the insurance officer was intimated thru email on their. Further I was told by the officer to go for reimbursement but after following with the officer MR ANIL BHATIA, development officer for more than 3 months that claim is rejected due to continuity of the policy. He further keep telling me that he is trying. No results. Now my wife was admitted to the Asian Institue of Medical Scinces for neuro check up. Again my cashless claim was rejected on the ground that thee should be two years of continuity. I am again left in pain with no option. The insurance co never informed me or nor it is written I the policy what diseases are included and what is excluded.
