Consumer Redressal

Sir, Our Company has been charged excess interest on Cash Credit facilities sanctioned from Dena Banj, Panwadi Branch, Bhavnagar during the months of January 2013 to March 2013 amounting approximately Rs 225000/-. We have made various representations to the bank but till date there is no reply from the bank. Subsequently on 23.04.2015, we made representation to RBI Banking Ombudsman who disposed off our complaint citing time barring reason. Our case is a genuine one and we have been made to run from pillar to post for excess overcharged interest by Dena Bank. There is no reply from their side and while we approached the Ombudsman, they plainly replied that the case is time barred. We fail to understand that when the Bank is not acting promptly for payment of dues to a customer, how can the customer be denied even a hearing. We request you to take up our matter at appropriate level and guide us to get our hard earned money back from the Bank.
