Had paid Rs.28914/- on 01-12-2014 to M/s Indiaislandtourism for 3 tickets in Deluxe class for ship journey from Kolkatta to PortBlair on 22.12.2014. The travel agent provided 3 first class tickets instead of Deluxe class and the fare difference is Rs.6954/-. Had taken up with the travel agent repeatedly to refund the difference of amount from 01 Jan 2015 onwards. The matter was reported to consumer forum on 11.04.2015 and a notice was issued by the forum to the travel agent by email on the same day to redress the grievance within 7 days. However, even after almost two months are over after issue of the notice, the travel agent has not refunded the amount till date. Request to take up the issue with the tour operator and force him to refund the difference amount and also sufficient damage.
