This refers my policy no251680145 dt 28-10-1997 with L.I.C.of India,Ghaziabad( Branch code 255). As per terms of policy I should get Rs 2000/ as SB from third year of Policy. But First S.B given to me is in the year 2008 and subsequently in the year 2013. I personally visited branch on 31-01-2013 and asked for interest( letter duly acknowledged by LIC). I repeatedly lodged complaint online for penal interest , the same is acknowledged by LIC in their trailing mail dated 11-06-2013. But I have not received any interest till date and on 08-08-2013 they declined to pay any interest. They charge interest for delay in premium payment then they should pay interest for delayed payment of S.B.
