Consumer Redressal

It’s been 7 months now, that online travel Company Make my trip is not refunding me Rs 3.80 lacs that they have already received for the cancellation of my flight tickets from Delta Airlines which was booked through them. The said booking was for 3rd April 2020 and but all flight was canceled by Delta Airlines due to Covid19 related lockdown. On my follow-up, Delta Airlines refunded the entire amount (without any deduction) to Makemytrip and send me a confirmation, but Makemytrip has come up with a plan to exploiting the Covid19 situation at cost of travellers and is not returning the same back to me. There is no one to take my calls or respond to my request and complain. It is simply saying (in login in page) that the money is in a wallet with them, which supposedly belongs to me but I can not use it for my need. This is actually a fraud and to my surprise, government & RBI are all silent about it. I have learned my session for trusting Makenytrip for my bookings the hard way and I will never ever in my life book another ticket from Makemytrip. The plight is that my ears of hard-earned money is stuck with them and them and they do not care as they are enjoying this money to run their show and leisure. I have been requesting them to take up my complaint and refund the money to me but they do not respond. Government agencies like civil aviation, etc have as usual failed in their duties towards helpless citizens who have been taken for an easy ride by Makemytrip management. I do not know whom to approach. I will next write to the PMO & RBI or also take up the matter legally, demanding interest and penalty for the said amount. My Booking reference id's are 1.
