Consumer Redressal

I was contacted by DHL Packers and Movers (the man who contacted me was Vijender Singh), for shifting my office chair from Bangalore to Guwahati. I had to pay a booking amount of Rs 1000 after which they came and picked up my chair and that same day, he told me that I had to pay an insurance of Rs 5000 which was absurd for an office chair. I still paid him hoping that my chair would get shifted. It's been 3 months now. Vijender Singh has been giving a lot of excuses and hasn't been addressing my queries, he tells me the chair would be delivered on this day and that. But that never happens. He has been giving fake information and has not even shown me my packaged item nor has given me any tracking ID. This is a huge SCAM and I have been mentally harassed by this guy for 3 months. The audacity of this person to speak rubbish and then not deliver the product at all is an offense. He never replies to my texts and it's me who has to call him, again and again, asking for the status. I have copies of the amount that I paid him, a mail in which he said the product will be shipped by 25th of January. and a track record of the number of calls I make to him every day. Also, I have the receipts and the address of his office. I want to sue this person who has been making my life a living hell.
