Consumer Redressal

We have mediclaim policy with Start Health for Rs. 1/- lacs. My mother passed through knee replacement operation costing Rs. 1.50/ lacs. We submitted claim for full against which we received only Rs. 42,000/-. In 2011 my father was operated with bypass surgery costing Rs. 4/- lacs. We submitted claim but rejected fully by Star health quoting reason that at the time of taking policy adequate disclosures were not given. My father and mothers policy is with star for last 8-9 years. These were the first occasion to claim reimbursement, but are not clearing the claim
