Consumer Redressal

I am Abrar Ali Saiyed a doctoral scholar at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. I have booked the return ticket on 19th December, 2013 for Ahmedabad-Toronto, to attend a conference in June, 2014. A I have limited funding for central government to attend conference, I booked my tickets, 6 months prior to save some money. On 10th of May, when I called the customer care at Goibibo to check schedule change of my flights, I came to know that one of my tickets was cancelled by them, and they didn’t bother to inform me. After couple of calls, when I was put on hold for 40-50 mins, and coordinating with airlines, I came to know that, Goibibo didnt confirm the ticket with airlines, and issued a complete and confirm ticket for me. They are blaming Airlines for the same, but I had a contract with Goibibo, it should fulfill the contract, and When I paid 73,000+ amount to get my complete tickets, how without informing me they cancelled one of my tickets and didnt inform me nor refund me
