I had booked a Europe Tour with Thomas Cook for my wife who was travelling with her friends. Her VISA got rejected on the last moment and her tour got cancelled.
Now Thomas Cook earlier said that there is no refund as per policy. After discussions they have agreed to refund Rs.69,000/- out of Rs.1,57,000/- paid to them.
The following needs to be considered :
VISA was processed by Thomas Cook and due to poor representation of the case the VISA got rejected.
The VISA was granted again when similar tour was booked thru another operator later.
There were discounts offered by Thomas Cook during booking, which have been added during cancellation.
No further response from Thomas Cook is being recieved now.
