I had a conventional insurance plan with ICICI Prudential (Forever Life). I paid regular premiums for last 11 yrs but decided to surrender it as i was not satisfied with the returns. The policy document stated the following If premiums are paid for three consecutive years the policy acquires a surrender value which is equal to 35% of premiums paid excluding the first year premium. The cash value of guaranteed additions and vested bonuses will also be allowed. This document was signed and given to me by authorised signatory of ICICI Prudential.i was offered a surrender value of Rs 69775/-. Despite my repeated attempts and many visits they would just not divulge the details of how they had calculated this surrender value. They told me in clear terms that it is insurance company policy NOT to divulge any details abt this which surprised me. My guaranteed addition were Rs. 88490 and revesionary bonuses Rs. 47701.i was given wrong amt of surrender value.Despite repeated complaints no res
