Consumer Redressal

Dear Sir, Appreciate if a below complaint is posted on your web site. I also seek your guidance in this matter to get my balance amount back. I read a similar type of complaint posted on your web site by Mr. Ajit Shrivastav on 2/Dec/2014. I purchased a policy called Life Time in April 2005 & redeemed same in Nov 2014. I received an SMS from ICICI Pru-Life stating that total redemption amount of INR 2133890.42 will be credited to my designated bank account in 10 working days. I received another SMS after a few days stating amount credited is 2091212.6116. I confirmed same after updating my passbook. Amount deducted is INR 42677.81 for which I had no clue. After repeated enquiry (first they claimed that there is no deduction at all) they answered that it is a TDS as per RBI regulation (effective Sept-2014) but refused to give me any TDS certificate to that effect.
